The rate at which the visas for Indians have been refusing is unusual in number. While the work visa rate of rejection is raising for Indian IT firms situated in the US, 70 percent of Indian citizens are continuing to receive visa almost regularly for US-based firms like Google and Amazon.
However, now with the commencement of September, the United States has announced that they shall be operating on simplifying the stringent visa appeal processes easier for Indians, commencing from 1 September 2019.
The US Consulate also stated that all the qualified candidates need to schedule an interview date to drop off their passport and visa appeal materials at one of its 11 places in the nation, from 1 Sept 2019.
Once done, one of the visa appeal center employees shall evaluate the documents checklist before allowing the appeal for delivery to the US Embassy or to the US Consulate and the candidate shall get a decision within 7-10 business days after submission.
In India, the US visa appeal centers are present in Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jalandhar, Kochi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, and Pune. The US’ part of the worldwide long-haul tourism market is on a 4-year slide since its former high of 13.7 percent in 2015, falling to 11.7 percent in 2018, according to the US Travel Association which is very negative on the travel market.
This drop-in market share signifies losses to the economy of the USA of 14 million global visitors, $59 billion in global traveler spending, and 120,000 positions.
