3,200 Federal Express Entry applicants received invitations to apply for Canada PR in the 133rd Federal Express Entry draw which held on 19 December 2019. This draw observed the minimum required CRS score dropped three points to 469 related to the previous draw which held on 11 December 2019.
Generally Express Entry draws happen for every two weeks, and with the holiday season is advancing it was not clear that whether there could be one more draw before the close of 2019. Today’s surprising 133rd Express Entry draw resulted in 3,200 ITAs to applicants below the Federal Express Entry system.
Although the minimum required CRS score had been comparatively high in the previous invitation rounds, we are pleased to see that this specific draw saw a 3 point decline to 469 related to previous week’s draw at 472 points, which could mean a down trend moving into the next year.
Today’s draw takes the entire number of invitations to apply announced inn 2019 to 85,300, significantly exceeding the federal highly-skilled immigration goal for 2019 which is 81,400.
As we are approaching the end of 2019, we are pleased to see that the government is firmly on track to reach its goal of welcoming above 1 million immigrants over the following three years.
