The reason behind the reiteration of the consulate is the repeated message to Indian travelers owing to many requests seeking repatriation or medical assistance by Indian visitors to the UAE as per the advisory. While the Consulate helps Indians who suffer, the relevant expenses are out of its scope.

The policy covers medical expenses for the insured limit, any interruptions, flight cancellation or baggage loss but do not cover when the policy-holder is at fault.
